Vijay Deverakonda Refuses OTT Release For Liger, Here's Why

The blockbuster South actor Vijay Deverakonda has rejects the reports that his upcoming pan-Indian film, Liger, is streaming on a digital platform. The bilingual film, in which Ananya Panday also appeared, is directed by Puri Jagannadh, who earned fame for Mahesh Babu’s starer “Pokkiri.”
Earlier this week, the “Arjun Reddy” actor went to Twitter to share photos of the local media report. He captioned the post as - “Too little. I’ll do more in the theater.” The macho actor Vjay Deverkonda, who essayed the role of a boxer in the upcoming movie.

Liger is a bilingual movie - Telugu, and Hindi that features Anana Panday, Ramya Krishnan, Rho Nitroi, and Maca Landdes Pande. Reportedly, in Hindi, the movie will be published by Karan Johar of Dharma Productions.
The movie is slated to be released in India in September 2021 tentatively the 9th is finalized so far. As per the reports, the makers decided to release in other three languages as well – Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam apart from Telugu and Hindi. So, altogether “Liger” will release in five Indian regional languages.
With “Liger”, Vijay Deverakonda will make his debut in Hindi Film Cinema. “Liger” is produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and Puri Connects; this is a production house owned by Puri Jagannath and Charmme Kaur. The first schedule of the Puri Jagannadh directorial was shot in Mumbai during the January and February months of 2020 and has reportedly will start the shoot post the lockdown due to COVID 19.
